A small parking area beside a cattle gate marks the start; arrive early on weekends as space is limited. Public transport is impractical—taxis from Ribadesella or Colunga are the only alternative.
The Hike to the Summit
From the gate a clear track climbs through meadows dotted with apple orchards and stone-walled brañas. After 45 minutes the path narrows into a rocky ridge offering the first sea views.
